Polish violist Kinga Wojdalska has established herself as a versatile soloist, chamber musician, pedagogue and sought-after principal violist. She is a Second Prize winner of the Primrose International Viola Competition (USA), where she also received the Transcription Prize for her own arrangement of Grażyna Bacewicz’s Polish Capriccio.
Her artistic work places particular emphasis on 20th- and 21st-century repertoire, including major European premieres such as John Williams’ Viola Concerto and Miklós Rózsa’s Viola Concerto. In 2026, she is releasing two CDs: her debut solo album featuring her own arrangements of works by Grażyna Bacewicz, and a chamber music album with Giovanni Sollima, Clarissa Bevilacqua, Petar Pejčić and Carlotta Maestrini.
Kinga Wojdalska is supported by Thomastik-Infeld and currently performs on a historic Italian viola by Gasparo da Salò, generously loaned from a private collection.
